Deepening our connection to what is unseen beyond light’s reach. The space expresses the complexity of inter-species interactions and the evolution of our ecosystem.
Observing the geometry that governs biological processes.
Bespoke ceramics; an examination of the diverse morphologies and textures of underwater organisms.
Progressive, sandblasted glass acts as an expression of water in mist state, creating privacy within the dining experience.
There is an emphasis on intimacy, as the ocean houses three private dining rooms for an added lap of luxury. Magic is added with a backdrop of the ocean itself, while the walls of a jellyfish aquarium surrounding each private dining room, submerging each visitor into a pool of conversation as they observe the mystique of nature around them.
The signage draws inspiration from the rhythm of the tides at Repulse Bay Beach. Layered circular forms echo the movement of ebb and flow, referencing the shoreline, ocean currents, and shifting coastal textures. Applying Nature’s ability to construct symmetry and order from complex systems, the design creates a sense of harmony and place.
Indigo dye is sustained across all printed collaterals as a reflection of the oceanic colour palette.
